Polynesia comprises 117 islands in 4 main archipelagos: the Society Islands, the Tuamotus, the Gambiers and the Marquesas. This region is as vast as Western Europe. The main Society Islands include Bora Bora, Raiatea, Tahaa and Huahine. These are the sparkling jewels you'll discover on your Tahiti cruise, on our luxury motor or sailing yachts.
From Raiatea you will discover some of the jewels of the South Pacific. You will sail quietly with the steady and warm trade winds that will guide you through the colorful coral reefs and the beautiful clear waters of the lagoons.
If your itinerary takes you to the Tuamotu, you will visit the most beautiful atolls of Polynesia. Rangiroa is a huge turquoise lagoon lined with white sand beach. A little tour to the coral garden and the enchantment is there: multicolored fish, moray eels, dolphins.
Crossing downwind will then take you to Tikehau, the Bird Island and Eden Farm, waiting for you on a wild expedition. A dive with manta rays on the old pearl farm will end this unforgettable cruise to Tuamotu.
Long preferred by sailors, Bora Bora is one of the small tropical paradises of the South Pacific. A single barrier reef encircles the two islands that make up Bora Bora. One of the major interests of the lagoon is the quality of snorkeling and swimming. The smallest island, Topua, is the only remnant of the Bora Bora volcano. Safe anchorages, white sand beaches, restaurants, shops, art galleries, luxury hotels, shore excursions, such are the pleasures offered by Bora Bora.
Known locally as "Garden Island" because of its lush rainforests, vanilla, copra and watermelon cultures, Huahine is actually made up of two mountainous islands connected by a short strip of land. It is less crowded than Bora Bora or Tahiti. Miles of white sand beaches, safe anchorages, wonderful snorkeling are the major assets of this South Pacific treasure.
In this region with a humid tropical climate, there are two seasons, the dry season from May to October (the austral winter) and the wet season from November to April (the austral summer), a period when cyclones can be born.
From May to October, regular sector trade winds are producing more sunny, well-ventilated days, interspersed with a period of strong (20 knots) south wind and cold called Maraamu. The period from November to April experiences days of calm, hot, saturated humidity (> 80%).
Polynesia, a magical archipelago in the heart of the Pacific Ocean, is renowned for its paradisiacal landscapes, crystal-clear waters and sandy beaches. When you choose to discover this region on a luxury crewed yacht, you open the door to an unparalleled experience.
Maupiti, one of Polynesia's lesser-known islands, is a real hidden treasure. Plage de Tereia, with its fine sand and crystal-clear waters, is the ideal spot for a tranquil getaway.
The Plage de Nao Nao is located on an islet in Raiatea and is an ideal place to explore the island's natural beauty. With its calm waters and golden sand, it's a perfect spot for water sports.
Tahaa, the vanilla island, is one of Polynesia's jewels. Motu Mahana Beach is a small paradise located on a private islet. You can access it from your luxury yacht for an exclusive beach experience.
Bora-Bora, often referred to as the "Pearl of the Pacific", is home to one of the world's most famous beaches: Matira Beach. This stretch of pristine white sand stretches along a turquoise lagoon and offers spectacular views of Mount Otemanu.
Tupai, nicknamed "The Heart Atoll", is a secluded island with limited access, but offering an unforgettable beach experience. Relax, swim and explore this unspoilt paradise.
For travelers in search of the ultimate experience, exploring the islands of Polynesia by luxury motor or sailing yacht is an unforgettable adventure. With The Yacht Experience discover the luxurious activities you can experience in the jewels of Polynesia.
Imagine flying over turquoise lagoons, colorful coral reefs and majestic mountains while enjoying spectacular aerial views. Bora-Bora, with its Mount Otemanu and lagoons, is particularly impressive from the air.
A tour of the islands by quad offers an exciting land adventure. During your stopover on one of Polynesia's islands, get behind the wheel of an all-terrain quad bike to explore winding trails, vanilla plantations, archaeological sites and incredible panoramas.
If you prefer a panoramic view of the islands, opt for a panoramic seaplane flight. This exclusive mode of transport will take you over Polynesia's breathtaking landscapes, passing over sparkling lagoons, secluded motus and verdant mountains.
Whether you're an experienced diver or a beginner, you can explore these marine wonders with the help of professional diving instructors. Many luxury yachts are equipped with diving equipment to make this experience even more enjoyable.
