Location de voilier et catamaran en Turquie

The Republic of Turkey is truly located at a historical, cultural, geographical and religious crossroads.

This vast peninsula is surrounded by sea on three sides, linking Asia and Europe. With over 4400 miles of coastline, Turkey is undoubtedly a paradise for luxury cruises on magnificent sailing yachts, motor yachts or the famous gulets or caiques, Turkey's famous wooden sailing ships. Mountain ranges to the north, west, south and east surround a central plateau. To the west, the mountains fade gently to the sea. Legend has it that Mount Ararat, Turkey's highest peak at 5,165 metres, is where Noah and his Ark found refuge after the flood. Our luxury yachts for charter are based in Göcek or Fethiye (pronounced Fe-ti-yé), on the turquoise coast also known as the Turkish Riviera.

Set sail from Göcek or Fethiye to discover the golf course and its treasures, and treat yourself to the most delightful and memorable cruise in the Mediterranean.

Here are our favorite places to visit on our cruise in Turkey : Spoon island, just 2 NM south of Göcek (preferably at the end of the day, when the tourist caiques are returning to their home ports), the superb Dalyan river, which you can cruise in a small tourist boat after leaving your yacht in Ekincik, the pretty anchorage and marina of Adaia, the market town of Fethiye and the superb yacht classic marina with swimming pool, as well as the famous Ölüdeniz beach.

Göcek

The Göcek marina is an ideal starting point for yacht charters, ideally located just a few minutes from Dalaman airport. The marina is magnificent, with parking, toilets and showers, as well as a small supermarket where you can stock up before setting off for the south and its many islands.

Gulet rental in Turkey

Schooners (or caiques) are magnificent wooden sailing ships that can accommodate many people on board. We have several partners offering private gulet charter.

Fethiye

Fethiye is located on the turquoise coast also known as the Turkish Riviera. Be sure to visit the famous Ölüdeniz beach (Blue Lagoon), its surrounding beaches and the Fethiye market, while our teams finish preparing your private luxury yacht.

Marmaris

Marmaris lies between the Aegean sea and the Mediterranean sea, upon a natural bay circled by a pinewood forest extending towards the sea. It is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful Turkish destinations, with its magnificent cove located at the foot of somptuous mountains.

Bodrum

Bodrum Marina is located just a few minutes from the airport. It's an ideal base from which to charter a luxury yacht and set sail for Greece and the Dodecanese islands (Kos, Rhodes, etc.).

Weather

The prevailing wind during the high season is the meltem, which blows from the northwest-west north west in the open sea. It remains quite local and variable near the shores. It can however instantly reach 6-7 Beaufort. Off season, the meltem is weaker, and a light wind regime can last several days. Generally, the wind raises in the afternoon giving you time to find a comfortable anchorage. It can however happen that the meltem does not go down at the end of the day and blows still at night.

Temperature

The average air temperature in July –August is 25 degrees, and that of the sea is 22 degrees.
